| E-mail training program
£200
If you have a climbing goal and are looking for good advice about how to prepare for it that is personalised and detailed, you can request an E-mail training program.
I will interview you via email and gather all the necessary information to compile a program and repsond with an itemised, detailed outline of the different elements you should focus on, and how to integrate them into your climbing.
I will set the program to match your available time and resources to climb and train and your stage of development. I will also be happy to answer any further questions you have as you implement the program. Programs are not set in length but are generally around 4-5000 words as I provide detailed instructions about how to go about each element.

E-mail training program FAQs
So I want a training program, what happens next? Send me an email, I'll come back to you with detailed questions about your resources, climbing habits, available time, goals and history. Once you return your answers I'll prepare the program in about a week and email it to you.
Would everyone benefit from a program, or is it just for 'serious' climbers? Everyone can benefit from advice on how to make the best use of your time and resources to get more out of your climbing. With coaching, you benefit from the objectivity and experience of the coach . This matters at any level. I've helped climbers whose current level is V-Diff, and who climb E7. A program will help leverage your efforts better, no matter who you are.
It's called a 'training program', but it's just a detailed battery of advice to help you improve according to your preferences. If 'training' is not your thing, no problem, I'll focus on how you can make the most of your time climbing and make good choices in all aspects of your ability from tactics to nutrition.
Will you be able to answer further questions as I'm following your adivce? Sure, I love to keep in touch with people following my programs, hear how they are progressing and help them stay on the right track.
Can you write programs for any climbing related goal? Yes. Whether its your first E1, 7a, E11, 9a, 4000m peak, ice route, trip away, return after a layoff - whatever - I can help you plan to achieve it.
Can you advise on injuries? Yes, but on a limited basis. I can provide detailed information on the best rehab strategies available for recovering from various climbing related injuries. Finger injuries are my most common request unsurprisingly. However, like any of my coaching advice you must follow it at your own risk and it's your responsibility to make your own diagnosis and rehab decisions and seek qualified medical advice where necessary. I can point you in the right direction by providing you will detailed and relevant information, but you have to retain responsibility for your own recovery. Please get in touch for more information.
Do the training plans cover my long term development? Yes. The programs are principle based - I explain the reasoning behind each piece of advice for two reasons: So you have confidence in it as you move to the nitty gritty of working on your climbing level, and so you have the knowledge required to adapt the schedule as you progress or your circumstances/goals change.
I want to give a training plan as a gift for a friend, how can I do this? Good gift! Send me an email to arrange payment for the program and I'll send you an E-voucher/card PDF that you can print/email and give to your friend.
