The Bat
The famous re-enactment film of the first ascent of The Bat on Ben Nevis in 1959 by Robin Smith and Dougal Haston. Smith is played by Rab Carrington and Haston is played by Brian Hall. It was shot in 1978. A superb insight into what climbing was like in the 1950s with great footage of the long fall that Haston took on the big corner pitch. An old classic.
